Hello and thank you for dropping by.
My real estate story began after I ran away from practising corporate law to “find myself”. Joining the property industry was an experiment and I expected it to last only 6 months before I ran out of money. Fortunately, I have been lucky.
I started my journey as a buyer’s real estate agent who focuses mainly on the hunt for Semi-D, Bungalows and Terrace Link Corners in Petaling Jaya. I picked PJ because I grew up in SS2, went to schools in Old Town and Jalan Gasing and had tuition and activities all over PJ during my pre-adult life. Like a typical PJ resident, I find joy using residential shortcuts to beat the traffic and understand that PJ people will almost always prefer to buy PJ properties.
Over the years, this extended geographically to Damansara Heights, Bangsar, Taman Tun, Mont Kiara and other prime areas, and categorically by request to include terrace houses, shoplots and condominiums.
In the last 2 years, I have been busy taking courses and exams for the valuers/ real estate agency / property management license. Exams are over now so let’s hope I pass and move onto the next stage.
What does a Buyer’s Agent do?
Contacting a buyer’s agent is a good idea if you are becoming tired of browsing Iproperty and other real estate websites by yourself and reconciling that with the newspaper’s classified section over whatever personal time you have left during the weekend. As a specialist for clients looking similarly to buy houses in Petaling Jaya (and sometimes other areas), I will, due to the nature of my work, be looking at all available market sources on a daily basis. These include internal network information of good properties that may yet (or may not) be advertised to the public.
To make it easy for myself and my clients, I work with home owners and other agents to filter and list (on this site) what I consider to be good properties for sale in Petaling Jaya.
What kind of “good property” do I list on this site?
This means a house that I feel has good potential for PJ living. Not on a main road, not facing a T-junction (unless it is very minor, in which I case I will tell you), not houses whose back faces a big highway, or houses with characteristics that would make it undesirable to a normal buyer.
I make it a point to personally visit each property listed on this site and the surrounding areas so that I can vouch for its quality. Where this is not possible, I would have qualified the features of the house with the respective owner or co-agent and at least viewed it from the outside.
Other properties (e.g. commercial potentials and properties in other areas) are listed separately in the website.
No cost or obligation to you
To put it simply, getting in touch with me is an easier and additional way for you to find your desired property. In accordance with market standards, my services is at no cost (yes, free!) or obligation to you as I will be rewarded by the seller when you find your happy home. Of course, if you insist on reimbursing me, I will not oppose, and it will help me to negotiate the best price for your purchase (since the seller will not have to compensate me).
