Here is a link to the official MRT website showing the layout of the confirmed blue line: http://www.mrt.com.my/MRT-stations.htm
It is worthy to take note of these few stations surrounding the Petaling Jaya area:
1. Dataran Sunway – Right opposite the Sunway Giza Mall at Kota Damansara. This is the main factor of why the Sunway Nexis development and condominiums like Casa Indah are increasing in value.
2. The Curve – More reasons to visit your favourite shopping mall and Ikea for meatballs. The stations is going to be smack on the divider of Persiaran Surian road (think Starwars platform style) in front of Menara Surian, with a walkway to E@Curve.
3. One Utama – Another KLCC in the making. Workers in KPMG, One World Hotel and Sri Pentas TV3 must be happy. Station will be located by the LDP behind 1Utama, and there will be a connecting path directly to 1Utama.
4. TTDI – Located star wars style (I.e. on a platform in the middle of the road) in front of the Mobil petrol station after the market.
5. Section 16 – Above ground where Shell used to be. A pedestrian bridge is being planned from the station to what used to be BHP petrol station, making it extremely accessible to Phileo Damansara offices and Eastin hotel. I hope employees in the Eastin area (The Star, Siemens) are still around to enjoy the public transport when it finishes.
6. Pusat Bandar Damansara – The mother of all star wars stations, this is going to be on a raised platform smack on the junction where cars turn from the SPRINT to Jalan Maarof, Bangsar. Traffic is now a nightmare because of construction. HELP University must not have believed their luck because they have one station here near the main block and another in Semantan (below) near their other department block. That said, the party most happy with this MRT station though is probably the developer for the Twins, Damansara Heights . Properties nearby in the condo Cascadium and Bangsar Puteri are doing well.
7. Semantan – Yet another station on a raised platform in the middle of the road close to where the petrol stations Shell and Esso used to be. This will make the station a stone’s throw away from the ECM Libra building and Damansara Endah apartments.
